Grade 1 2025 Applications

SOME GENERAL INFO RELATING TO THE PROCESS:

  1. Online applications will be done on the GDE ADMISSION PORTAL (www.gdeadmissions.gov.za)
  2. Applications may only be submitted during the official application period.
  3. The following information is required to complete your e-application:
  • Learner’s ID Number
  • Both Parents’ ID Numbers
  • Residential Address of Parents
  • Work Addresses of Parents
  • Name of Current Primary School
  • Current Grade
  1. Placement criteria
  • Home address in the school’s feeder zone
  • Sibling at school
  • Work address in the school’s feeder zone
  • Home address within a 30km radius
  • Home address beyond a 30km radius
